Tarzana

Tarzana is surrounded by Reseda to the north, Woodland Hills to the west, Encino to the east, and the Santa Monica Mountains to the south. Most of Tarzana´s inhabitants live in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains south of Ventura Boulevard. South of Ventura Boulevard also contains two gold courses: El Caballero Country Club and Braemar Country Club.

Tarzana features a growing Iranian-Armenian population and is well known for its Persian restaurants. There is also a long established, thriving Jewish community who can congregate at any of four Synagogues. The population as of 2009 was 35,502 and a median household income of $73,195.
